The Avantree ANC032s were by far my least favorite pair of budget noise cancellers that I tried during my few years in DC. While the active noise cancelling does technically work, it seems to block far fewer noises than any of the other pairs I tried. The headband is flimsy, and while it never broke it frequently seemed about to. It doesn’t clamp to the head at all, and as a result has zero passive noise cancelling.
It failed across the board for me, personally. I’d recommend these for someone that doesn’t need a lot of active noise cancelling, and really, really wants something light. The receiver would also have to be generally gentle with their electronics. Given that I am none of the above, it wasn’t the right fit for me.
